If you are too a fan of sci-fi action movies then I am sure you would be familiar with one of the characters - the wolverine and his famous healing power characteristics, and must have thought at some time (well especially when watching the movie) that if only you too could have that healing power - right?

Turns out that we are too blessed with a somewhat similar immunity system - but remember since we haven't been a part of any weapon-x experiment in real life it may not be that much effective as what we see in sci-fi movies. We often hear that you need to have a good amount of quality sleep so as to remain healthy and active every day. But do you know that sleep doesn't only helps you to take rest out of your hectic schedule but also helps to naturally boost up your immunity i.e., a natural defense function of your body?

During sleep, our immunity is restored i.e. the natural healing power, which helps in healing injuries and illnesses that humans and animals born in this world have without being aware of it.

We should feel blessed having such natural healing power, while it helps us to recover from small injuries and diseases without the need of medicines, but if god forbid there is some critical situation it also does help to boost up the recovering process along with whatever other medication a person is required to follow.

An interesting fact here to note is that even if you don't feel drowsy, your body may not have enough sleep time and quality that is required to have a healthy immunity system. So, even if you think that you slept for a sufficient amount of time, however, if there is poor sleep quality, such as light sleep and waking up many times in the middle of the night, can lead to weakened immunity, thereby increasing the risk of developing lifestyle-related diseases, which can progress unnoticed. The more severe it is, the more burden it puts on the body.
